We can offer full equipment rental and a complete range of diving gear.

If you have decided to buy your own diving gear, we have a large selection of Scuba Pro gear, including wetsuits, Bcd's, masks and fins, weights and cylinders, all of which can be purchased along with all those little extras and "goodies" we love and need to have. If you need anything, or just need advice, call Justin.

Courses
We believe that the start of your diving adventure should be good one and fun!  That's why when you are doing a course with Scuba Shack we make sure you get the best ! Justin is a very experienced Instructor and will make your diving experience most enjoyable, passing on his invaluable knowledge and expertise.

We have a comfortable classroom available if needed, that is equipped with full audio-visual aids and a full range of Padi teaching materials.

Shore Dives and Boat Dives
Accompained shore dives can be arranged 7 days a week and we can introduce you to many beautiful and awesome dives sites and wrecks. We can take you for a shore dive with the 7 gill cow sharks, kelp forests. Boat dives can also be booked, to many ship wrecks and reefs dotted around our Coastline. Weather permitting.

Scuba Dive Permits
In 2007 we saw the introduction of the dive permits as part of the establishment of the Marine Reserve. The Marine Reserve runs roughly from Muizenberg in False Bay to Green point on the Atlantic site. That means the the whole of the Cape Peninsula is a protected zone. South Africa is way ahead of the rest of the world in declaring so much of its coastline a Marine Reserve.

For us as Scuba Divers this means that you will need a dive permit to dive. You can buy annual permits rom any local post office at R75 per year or you can buy a temporary dive permit from Scuba Shack for R45 and valid for 1 month.
