SAS Pietermaritzburg (1994)
Sold later in 1947, she was used by the South African Navy as a training vessel and minesweeper. She was scuttled on 12 November 1994 to form an artificial reef in the False Bay waters. The wreck lies resting upright on the sand and is fully intact. It houses abundant marine life and is a safe haven for a many species of fish. This is a perfect wreck penetration dive, as the wreck is fully intact and not too deep.
