Discover Scuba Diving

Do you have a limited amount of time or are you not sure yet if scuba diving is for you? The Padi Discover Course takes less then a day.

You will experience the full thrill of Scuba Diving by first being introduced to the basic theory behind Scuba Diving. A pool session in the dive shops pool will familiarize you with all the new equipments, breathing underwater in general and prepare you for a shore dive in the ocean.

The ocean dive is also under supervision of a Padi dive instructor who will ensure a safe and enjoyable experience. You will experience the sensation of being weightless, swimming with the fish and explore the kelp forests.

This certification is valid for 1 year. During this period you can dive under supervision of a Padi Divemaster to a maximum depth of 12m. If you decide that you would like to obtain a certification for life you can spend an extra day and do the Padi Scuba diver course or spend an extra 3 days and do the full Padi Open Water course. Your Discover Scuba experience counts towards both courses and if you did your Discover Scuba with Scuba Shack you will receive a discount too.

Minimum age for this course is 10 years and no experience is required.
