Scuba Diver

Are you pressed for time? But you would like a permanent dive qualification? Then the Scuba Diver course is a good choice. This course only takes 2-3 days and gives you a certification for life like the full PADI Open water course (the PADI Discover Scuba course is only valid for 12 months)

Just as with the PADI Open Water course we start with theory but only 3 sessions instead of 5. We then take you into our swimming pool for 3 pool sessions and finally 2 exciting Ocean dives.

You will qualify for life but you have to dive with a PADI professional. At any time after you qualified as a Scuba Diver you can up-grade to the full PADI Open Water qualification

Minimum age for this course is 10 years and no experience is required.

Where?

Our courses run from our Kommetjie dive shop. We offer transport from our Longstreet shop and all hotels, B&B and backpackers in Cape Town (centre). The Kommetjie shop has its own purpose build swimming pool which makes it perfect positioned for Scuba Courses in Cape Town.

When?

We run weekly Padi Scuba Diver Course and you can choice from both a full-time option (Monday to Wednesday), or Part-time option (2 consecutive weekends). Often we are also able to accommodate other schedules including private courses (at an extra charge). You have to book at least 1 day in advance (longer in advance is ok).

We meet at the Kommetjie shop at 09.00am or 08.00am at the Long street shop for people who require transport. We confirm all times the day before the activity.
